Description
Apothic Dark brings daring depths of dark fruit together for a bold red blend. Rich layers of blackberry and bold tannins lead the blend from the Petite Sirah, followed by notes of boysenberry pie, black cherry and plush tannins from the Teroldego. Bright, tart accents of pomegranate and dusts of spice add dimension while Zinfandel brings in a touch of licorice. The Zinfandel and Cabernet Sauvignon balance the dark fruit with some red and black currant characters, and both impart a more balanced, plush mouthfeel.
